About the Project
An artist I follow (and collect) from Oregon put out a call for 1000 hexagon pieces for a large quilt installation she is making. Her art often has bright colored birds. This bird is made with felt pieces attached with embroidery on antique linen. The wing is crochet that was originally on the antique linen's edge.
